Q.  Do you offer refunds?

A.  No.  All sales are FINAL due to hygiene reasons.

Please thoroughly read the descriptions as well as the entire FAQ to make an informed decision BEFORE purchasing.

Q.  I've never heard of "screwback clip-on earrings."  Can you describe them for me?  How are they different from regular clip-ons?

A.  Believe it or not, screwback clip-ons have been around for a very long time. 

The best part about screwback clip-ons is that YOU can "customize" the tightness level to suit your needs. In fact, even if you put the earring on as "tight" as you can stand it, they'll never feel like old-fashioned clip-on earrings.

You will have to experiment to get the feel "just right," but you'll master putting them on in no time.

Q:  Are your earrings hypoallergenic?

A.  No because gold-plated brass isn't classified as hypoallergenic.

However, there IS a product called, JewelryShield (by Eurotool) that might help you.  JewelryShield comes in a bottle and that looks like clear nail polish and protects against metal-related rashes.  This particular product has over 1,500 rave reviews on Amazon.

Additionally, I source my materials from companies that take their quality "very seriously."  I don't use cheap metals that will quickly tarnish OR "turn your skin green."   

That said, if you still have concerns regarding metal allergies, please consult a medical professional.

Q.  In your video, you mention using eyelash glue.  Can you please explain this?

A.  There are a wide variety of eyelash glues available: from regular hold to strong hold as well as hypoallergenic and formaldehyde/latex free for sensitive skin. 

In my humble opinion, if eyelash glue is safe enough to use around something as delicate as the human eye, then they're certainly safe enough to use on earlobes.

Feel free to experiment.

Q. So, is it mandatory for me to use eyelash glue in order to wear these earrings?  What if I don't want to use it?

A.  No.  You absolutely, positively do NOT need to use eyelash glue if you don't want to.  It is NOT mandatory.  The earrings work just fine without them.

Once you get your earrings, be sure to experiment wearing them around the house first just to make sure you get the "right fit." You don't want to accidentally lose an earring outside!  Practice first to make sure they're on correctly.

It's very important that you make sure the earrings are placed firmly, yet comfortably, on your ears.  If you put them on "just right," your earrings will not slip off accidentally.  You can feel confident about wearing them all day.

However, if you're:

• a little worried that your earrings could slip off accidentally OR
• you have a habit of subconsciously "checking" your ears to make sure your earrings are still there, OR
• you do a lot of dancing where you might "shake" your head a lot           

then you may want to consider using eyelash glue. 

Remember, eyelash glue is NOT mandatory to wear these earrings.  It is only "suggested" as a little extra insurance.  You be the judge!

Q.  Will these earrings tarnish?

A.  That depends on how you take care of them:

The BOTTOM portion of the earring (the attachment underneath the earring post) is made of non-tarnish, gold and/or silver-plated brass and WILL maintain its beautiful shine for the life of your earrings.

The TOP portion of the earring aka "the screwback earring post" (the one that fits directly on the earlobe) could lose its "shine" (or oxidize) over time (after a year).  That depends on how you take care of the earrings as well as the oils and other substances on your fingers when handling the earrings.

HOWEVER, to prevent this oxidation from happening in the first place, PLEASE keep your earrings in the enclosed plastic bag AFTER wearing them.  This will help maintain the earring's "shiny look" for the life of the earring.

Your earrings will NEVER look tarnished.

Q.  Are your screwback clip-on earrings truly "lightweight?"

A.  I know that might be hard to believe but it's true! I strive to make my earrings so "lightweight," that you sometimes can't tell you are wearing anything on your ears at all.  Comfort is VERY important!

Complete descriptions (including the weight) are provided for you to make an informed decision before purchasing.

Q.  Can you make these designs for pierced ears?  

A.  Occasionally. Please send an email with your request.

Q. If I lose one of my earrings, can you replace it?  Will it be half-price since I only need one earring?

A.  That will depend on whether or not the elements that make up your design are still in stock especially with supply chain issues being what they are nowadays.  Please be sure to email me and I'll let you know if I have what you need.

Keep in mind that even though the earring will be "half-price," tax and shipping fees still apply.

Additionally, you can use the remaining earring as a necklace charm!

 

Q.  Do you offer cancellations?

A.  No.  Once the card is charged, the order is now considered "placed."

Please take your time and read the product descriptions carefully BEFORE placing an order.  ALWAYS triple check your order, especially the address.

Q.  What types of payments are accepted?

A.  Your Mama Wears ClipOns accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diner's Club, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Meta Pay and Shop Pay via Shopify's online secured system.

Checks, cash, personal/cashier checks, money orders and phone/email/fax orders are NOT accepted.

 Q.  How soon will I receive my order?

A.  Please refer to the "Shipping" section for complete details.

Generally, it takes about 2-3 weeks production time AFTER your card has been charged to CREATE your order.  Afterwards, it will be shipped to you via USPS.

ALL customers will receive two emails (be sure to check spam folder):

--#1 an acknowledgment that your order was received.

--#2 an acknowledgment that your order has been shipped along with a tracking number.

I do try to work as quickly as I can to but keep in mind that everything is made "to order" and that it takes time.

Q.  I saw a design that was sold-out.  Will you restock it?

A.  That depends if the materials are in stock.  Email me with your request.

Q.  Can you do rush orders?

A.  That depends. Email me your request.

Q.  I notice that you only have a few designs available.   How often will you offer new designs?

A.  It varies.  Be sure to subscribe for new design updates.

Q.  Do you work with 14K gold, 14k gold-fill or silver at all?

A.  No.  As for silver, you will see rhodium-plated designs pop up occasionally.

Q.  Do you ship internationally?

A.  Not yet but soon.  For now, all orders are shipped within the US only.  Please subscribe via email for updates.
